What: Impactathon® Mini @ Soka hosted by B2B
Who: Impactathon Mini will guide you to form teams and launch a social enterprise and prepare to participate in the Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge-- a competition with the opportunity to win up to $60K in prizes.
No experience necessary.

What to expect at Impactathon® Mini :
- Learn about social enterprise & tools to build your own
- Map social problems using UN SDG's
- Brainstorm impact-driven solutions
- Design project/business plans
- Overview GSIC requirements and resources
Learn About:
- Social Enterprise: using business models to create social impact
- United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Design Thinking
- Lean Methodology for Startups
- Hackathons: sprints of groupwork, brainstorming, and innovation around a particular idea, problem, or solution.
Teams:
Teams can range in size from 2 – 5 members & must include at least one current Soka University student. Teams can include Soka University alumni, faculty members.
B2B Passport
The B2B Passport allows Soka students and alumni access to business skill-building learning destinations such as Impactathon, UCI New Venture Competition, Spring Break Business Bootcamp, and exclusive B2B Zoom Room interviews with entrepreneurs, and business thought-leaders, plus private coaching to help realize personal career goals.
